About iteach

iteach is a competency-based educator preparation program helping to fill the void the nation faces with the unprecedented teacher shortage. iteach enables paraprofessionals, substitute teachers, and others seeking to become teachers to get the affordable, time-saving education they need to become licensed. Our program combines the convenience of online learning with a full year of face-to-face mentorship during a teaching residency. Notably, iteach is the only non-university educator preparation program to achieve accreditation from the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).


About Passage Preparation

Passage Preparation has curated a network of experienced educators who have partnered with us to develop comprehensive courses that mirror the actual exam. The experiences in the course are designed to solidify candidates’ understanding of the content and increase their confidence. Our courses embed opportunities to practice formative assessments and summative assessments. We maintain engagement throughout the content with instructional activities that support mastery of complex concepts. We keep teachers at the center of our work, and because of that, we make sure that our courses are not only affordable but also a high-quality resource for licensure exams.


Location:
While this role can be performed remotely, candidates based near our iteach office in Denton, TX, may have a logistical advantage due to proximity to the office and potential travel requirements.


Travel:
For remote candidates, this role may require up to 15% travel to our Denton, TX office, where the iteach division is located, for in-person collaboration and team meetings. Additionally, occasional travel to our other K12 offices in Charlottesville, VA, and Eagan, MN may be needed for team offsites and broader company events. Travel will vary depending on business needs and team priorities.


The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, data-driven marketer to join the team. This role plays a key part in supporting customer engagement and growth for both iteach and Passage Preparation, two of K12 Coalition’s divisions, contributing directly to addressing the national teacher shortage. A critical aspect of this role is driving revenue growth by executing strategic marketing campaigns that directly impact our revenue goals for both divisions. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving awareness, generating leads, and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns across both divisions. While not directly managing others, this position will work closely with team members to ensure strategic goals are met.


This role reports to the Senior Director, Marketing and works in close collaboration with the Marketing Associate and Social Media and Content Marketing Associate.


What You’ll Do

Strategy & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Marketing to execute marketing strategies and support revenue goals for both iteach and Passage Preparation.
  • Partner with external agencies to ensure campaigns are aligned with strategic goals and optimized for success.

Campaign Management

  • Manage and optimize the HubSpot CRM system, including designing and executing email marketing campaigns, lead scoring, and automated workflows.
  • Support lead generation and customer acquisition efforts across digital channels, ensuring alignment with revenue targets.
  • Assist with paid media programs and collaborate with external agencies on audience targeting, content development, campaign execution, and performance analysis.

Creative & Communications

  • Develop creative briefs and define objectives/KPIs to align messaging with marketing channels.
  • Provide marketing communications to field representatives to promote iteach’s certification program and support new state launches and public relations initiatives as needed.

Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze and report on the success of multi-channel marketing campaigns, offering actionable insights to internal teams.
  • Stay current on marketing trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Other Duties

  • Support the team with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to help meet evolving organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer or inbound marketing, with a focus on digital marketing and project management.
  • Experience collaborating with key stakeholders and external agencies to implement a data-driven approach for optimizing multi-channel campaigns, including paid social media and PPC, ensuring continuous improvement in performance and results.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
  • Sound knowledge of marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and SEO platforms.
  • Experience with basic website management (CMS platforms, HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus).
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and tailor messaging to meet their specific needs.
  • A deep understanding of educational environments, allowing you to craft messages that resonate with educators and their preferred ways of receiving information.

Compensation Range

The compensation range for this position is $92,000 - $105,000.
