Job Description:
As the Senior Technical Program Manager for AI Strategy and Communication, you will play a crucial role in bridging communication among our AI, product marketing, product management, and legal teams. Collaborating closely with engineering teams and technical program managers, you will ensure alignment between AI research and development and engineering schedules. You will drive project execution, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned on goals, timelines, and deliverables.

Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a similar role, ideally within a technology or AI-focused organization.
Strong understanding of AI and its applications in education and technology.
Ability to communicate complex statistics simply to non-technical audiences.
Experience working with educational technology or directly with educational leaders is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interfacing effectively with diverse teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
5+ years of experience with project management tools and methodologies, including JIRA for strategic tracking.
Familiarity with SageMaker and Weights and Biases is a plus.
5+ years of experience facilitating alignment between R&D and engineering development schedules.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
5+ years of project management experience in an R&D setting is required.
5+ years of project management experience in an AI/Data Science setting is required.
Fluency and excitement with the latest Generative AI technologies (e.g., ChatGPT) and their applications.
Additional Information:
The expected annual base salary range for this position is $111,000 to $148,000, and the position is bonus eligible. As a remote-first organization, actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of the offer and will be determined based on work location and various relevant factors, including experience, skills, degrees, and other job-related factors.
