Project: Army Change Data Capture (CDC) Solution for SAP HANA, AWS RDS PostgreSQL, and Databricks
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Junior Scrum Master and Data Analyst to join our team in coordinating deliverables for the Army CDC project. In this role, you will blend project management and data validation skills, working closely with our teams to ensure the timely delivery of CDC solutions and the accurate replication of real-time data across SAP HANA, AWS RDS PostgreSQL, and Databricks environments.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage project timelines, sprints, and deliverables using Agile methodology.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and progress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remove impediments, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Perform data validation on replicated data across SAP HANA, AWS RDS PostgreSQL, and Databricks.
- Write SQL queries to verify data accuracy and consistency.
- Utilize Python scripts for advanced data validation and manipulation tasks.
- Ensure data replication aligns with Army ERP systems and meets project requirements.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
### Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in Scrum Master roles or project management within Agile environments.
- Strong understanding of Change Data Capture (CDC) processes and real-time data replication.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data validation and analysis.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA, AWS RDS PostgreSQL, and Databricks environments is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
### Preferred Qualifications:
- Agile or Scrum Master certification (CSM or similar).
- Experience with government or military-related projects.
- Knowledge of Qlik Replicate for data replication tasks.
