Job Description

About the Job:

We are looking for an experienced salesperson with a design background. You must have experience and/or knowledge about fine furniture, antiques, and art. One of the main objectives is to be able to provide a solid knowledge of all products to our customers in the sales process. If you do not have some type of design background and an understanding of fine furniture, art, or antiques please do not apply for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and direct customers.
• Provide design ideas.
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services.
• Cross-sell products.
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager.
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services.
• Manage inventory receiving, tagging, cleaning, and marketing.
• Coordinate with movers to arrange pickup and delivery of inventory.
• Assist in moving inventory around the showroom and when needed to customers' vehicles.

Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Designer, Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role.
• Understanding of the retail sales process.
• Basic math, computer, and marketing skills.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships.
• Ability to use computer/POS software.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• High school degree.

Requirements:

• Ability to Commute/Relocate: Greenville, NC 27858.
• High school or equivalent (Required).
• Experience: Retail sales: 2 years (Required).
• Computer skills: 1 year (Required).
• Design: 1 year (Required).
• Language: Fluent in English (Required).

Pay & Schedule:

• $12.00 to $16.00 per hour depending on experience.
• Monday to Friday, Weekends.
• Day Shift (Required), occasional evening shift for deliveries.
