Project Manager, ERP is a member of the ERP Major Projects organization. The position is responsible for managing the project delivery of ERP Major projects (S4 Technical Upgrade, ECC Migration etc.). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget, particularly in ERP solutions, with a strong preference toward SAP implementations. Experience in the Oil & Gas or Energy industry is highly desirable.
Responsibilities may Include :
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle of complex IT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting or exceeding stakeholder expectations.
- Manage project risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Prepare and present project status reports, including key metrics, to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and best practices in project management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management function.
Required Qualifications :
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- Bachelor's degree or higher in MIS or related Information Technology field
- 7 or more years of experience managing major SAP projects like implementations and upgrades
- Intermediate proficiency using project management tools like MS Projects, POL, and Azure DevOps and Microsoft Office tools
- Intermediate proficiency managing large-scale ERP implementations, particularly within the SAP ecosystem
- Advanced proficiency with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Preferred Qualifications :
- Strong understanding of the Oil & Gas or Energy industry's regulatory and operational environment.
- Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP) are strongly recommended
- Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain an elevated level of customer trust and confidence
- Ability to develop and execute a project resource plan that ensures that the right people are in the right place doing the right things at the right time
- Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
