Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu, a reputable company in Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Floater Caregiver. This versatile role requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to be available at any time when assigned. Job Summary: As a Floater Caregiver at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu, your role is vital in delivering excellent care to our esteemed senior clients. You will be responsible for assisting with their daily activities, reminding them to take medication, monitoring their health, maintaining accurate records, providing companionship, and supporting their emotional well-being. Additionally, you will be involved in light housekeeping, meal preparation, running errands, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. Effective communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals is crucial. You must also demonstrate flexibility as you may need to travel to various locations and adapt to changing schedules and tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their comfort and preserving their dignity.
• Remind clients to take their prescribed medication.
• Monitor and promptly report any changes in clients' health to the nursing supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of the care provided.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and lend a listening ear to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and running errands.
• Create a safe and clean environment that promotes the well-being of clients.
• Effectively and professionally communicate with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
• Be available to work at varying times as assigned.
• Drive to different locations as required by the job.
• Perform a variety of tasks based on the unique needs of each client.
• Adapt quickly to changing schedules and responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Hawaii.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, while maintaining a full-time schedule.
• Exhibit compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
• Strong work ethic and dependability.
• Ability to adapt to different tasks and environments.
• Excellent communication skills.
