Job Description
Position Purpose
As a Senior Product Designer at Aspira, you will play a key role in shaping the design of our innovative software products. This role requires hands-on involvement in creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces that align with our product vision and business goals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to deliver user-centered designs that enhance our software solutions. While not overseeing the entire design team, you will contribute significantly to design projects, drive design excellence, and support the growth and development of junior designers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement best in class design solutions that meet user needs and align with business objectives. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define design requirements and ensure seamless integration of design with product functionality.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative user research and usability testing to gather insights, validate design decisions, and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design standards and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all product interfaces.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and effective prioritization of tasks.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance design practices and drive innovation.
- Advocate for user experience throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring that design solutions provide a seamless and engaging user interaction.
- Standup and manage product feedback loops between product and internal teams including but not limited to help desk, call center, and account management teams.
- Participate in consumer-facing activities including but not limited to field visits, client demos, and product councils.
Desired Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in UI/UX design with a demonstrated portfolio of successful design projects, including at least 3 major projects that contributed to business objectives and user satisfaction.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools. Hands-on experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, with examples of successful project outcomes resulting from collaboration.
- Documented experience in conducting and analyzing user research and usability testing, with at least 2 projects that led to measurable improvements in user experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse audiences.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, highlighting creativity, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new trends and tools in the design industry, with a proactive attitude towards continuous learning and improvement.
Desired Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, User Experience Design, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5–7 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio of relevant design projects.
Desired Hardware and Software Competency
- Mastery of industry-standard design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite. Expertise in creating interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Framer.
- Proficiency with web, mobile (iOS and Android), and desktop applications.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Office Tools: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

- Frequent operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, printer, etc.,
- Scheduled hours, such as weekend, evening, or holiday shifts may occur as required by the business.
