InGenesis is currently seeking Administrative Assistants to work with our client in Bronx, NY. In this role, you will be providing administrative/clerical support for the Business Office and Receiving department .

Job Duties

• Ensure the efficient operation of an office by performing a wide range of administrative tasks related to correspondence, files, and calendar management; work coordination; customer service; information gathering; and report compilation
• Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports and handling information requests
• Perform clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings
• May train and supervise lower level clerical staff
• May act as immediate supervisor’s personal representative in dealing with public and in routine contacts with other State executives
• Perform special assignments, studies and routine administrative functions as specifically directed
• Screen incoming correspondence, refer to appropriate staff, and follow up to assure timely response
• Other duties as assigned.
• The position also requires providing support in the Queens Campus Storehouse/Mail room as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of office administration and management
• Proper grammar, punctuation and spelling
• Business communications and ability to take notes
• Proven strong communication and problem-solving skills

*Pay rate range commensurate on qualifications.
