Job Description

• Mixing and application of paints and other industrial coatings.
• Preparation of material prior to painting--as well as packaging of finished product--requires you to be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Cleanup of equipment.
• Maintenance of paint booth and equipment.
• Proper disposal of hazardous waste, according to safety and EPA regulations.
• Other miscellaneous items related to paint application--that may not be listed here--will also be required, as needed.
• Administrative duties:  maintaining production records and tracking paint and solvent usage.
• Full-time (overtime, as required)
• Wage based on experience and education.
  

Required Skills

• Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and related equipment.
• Regular and on-time attendance
• Minimum Education:  High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to follow correct safety procedures at all times
• Desire to work overtime
• Strong and conscientious work ethic
• Efficient work skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Ability and desire to work as part of a team
• Production of quality end products in a timely fashion

• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic understanding of manufacturing safety regulations
• Accurately read tape measure
• Read and understand detailed prints & work orders
