Trucking Dispatcher
Well established Lockport, NY trucking company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join their logistics team
*Pay - $18-$20, depending on exp. *
Shift - Monday - Friday, 8:30a - 5:00p

Lockport, NY - ON Site
Daily duties include
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation activities, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining effective communication between drivers and customers
This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Coordinate and schedule transportation routes for drivers to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to relay information regarding schedules, delays, or changes
Monitor freight movement and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during transit, including rerouting or rescheduling as necessary
Data entry of loads in dispatch/accounting system
Skills needed
Experience with logistics, trucking, or supply chain.
Have strong verbal and written communication skills
Know the geographic area
Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
Be able to work well independently
Must have -
1+ years of Dispatch experience.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
