We are looking for an experienced and organized Trucking Dispatcher to join our team and help us continue to deliver excellence.

Job Description:

As a Trucking Dispatcher, you will be the key point of contact between our drivers, customers, and the company. You will manage the coordination of freight, optimize routes, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve any issues that arise in transit. Key Responsibilities:

• Route Planning & Scheduling: Dispatch drivers and assign loads based on availability, routes, and customer requirements.
• Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between drivers, customers, and management, providing timely updates and instructions.
• Monitoring: Track the location and progress of shipments, ensuring deliveries are made on time and addressing any delays or issues that arise.
• Problem Solving: Handle unexpected issues such as route detours, vehicle breakdowns, or customer requests efficiently and effectively.
• Customer Service: Maintain strong relationships with clients by providing professional, friendly communication and addressing concerns or inquiries.
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and on time, including logs, delivery confirmations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Fleet Coordination: Work closely with the fleet department, monitor driver safety, and maintain vehicle schedules.
• Admin Tasks: Other administrative tasks as needed (Brokerage & Billing)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in trucking dispatch, logistics, or transportation management is preferred but not necessary.
• Understanding of the trucking industry, routes, and regulations.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency with dispatch software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
• Ability to handle stressful situations while keeping a calm, professional demeanor.
• Strong customer service orientation.
