We are hiring our first Trade Marketing Manager with a strong sense of curiosity, creativity, and strategic thinking. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, product visibility, and sales growth across retail and distribution channels. Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Create and implement trade marketing strategies that align with business objectives, driving increased product distribution, in-store visibility, and brand equity.
  • Retail Execution: Partner with sales teams and retailers to ensure effective execution of promotions, product launches, and merchandising initiatives in stores.
  • Promotional Planning: Develop and manage trade promotional programs, including in-store promotions, digital couponing, IRC campaigns, and retailer-specific initiatives, to increase product velocity and market share.
  • Channel Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage different retail and distribution channels, including grocery, convenience, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and evaluate the success of trade marketing initiatives by analyzing sales performance, ROI, and key metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize effectiveness.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the trade marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve the highest return on investment.
  • Retail Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, working together to enhance in-store experiences, product placement, and sales growth.
  • Market Insights: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitive analysis, and shopper behavior to inform future strategies and keep the brand competitive within the marketplace.
  • Briefing creative and working with production companies to execute assets for retail or field events.
  • Become an expert at influencing stakeholders, drawing on your experience and expertise to discover, manage and accelerate new market opportunities. Build an exceptional network.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing, primarily with a CPG brand in the F&B industry.
  • BA/BS in Marketing or Business is preferred
  • Strong understanding of retail environments and the sales cycle within various distribution channels.
  • Experience managing trade marketing budgets and promotional activities.
  • Knowledge and fluency with Sales and Marketing KPI’s and how to leverage to improve channel performance.
  • Proven experience with high-growth brands preferred and success working with cross functional teams.
  • Attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving.
  • Must be able to work market and be available for travel.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment..

Benefits

Base salary of $90,000 - $120,000, paid time off, and potential for equity
