Overview

Work and train with the industry's finest professionals! Flatiron's Intern Program provides challenging and rewarding work opportunities for college students majoring in Accounting or a related field. As an Intern, you will be given the opportunity to apply your academic training and skills in a real-world setting.

Students will apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and supports preparation of financial reporting with a focus on account reconciliations and any necessary follow up.

This position is an in-person postion at our coporate headquaters in Broomfield CO. The intern program run May 19, 2025 - August 2025.

What you will be doing

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Reconciles bank accounts for assigned companies.
• Reconciles financial information in detail for balance sheet accounts.
• Identifies potential reconciling differences for various accounts and works with the team to resolve differences.
• Compiles and analyzes financial information in order to transact journal entries to the general ledger.
• Performs intercompany billings for assigned companies and ensures related intercompany accounts are in balance.
• Maintains knowledge of Company's values and strategic plan.
• Performs additional assignments per management's direction.

What we are looking for

Education and/or Experience

Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or a related field required
