Key Responsibilities :
Greet each guest that walks in our doors
Ensure opening, midday and closing duties are completed
Execute flawless service in a casual environment, yet fast paced environment
Strive for an exceptional experience for every guest
Adhere to Steam Whistle Kitchen’s service standards and policies
Follow all Steam Whistle’s Health and Safety policies
Experience and Qualifications:
Solid understanding and practical knowledge of restaurant business principles and service etiquette
Previous Serving/bartending experience
General knowledge of food, wine, spirits, cocktails, and beer
Competent with POS systems (Point of Sales) and OpenTable of similar
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, key focus on customer experience
Ability to work well under pressure and multitask
Smart Serve Certification
Cicerone or Prud’homme Certificate an asset
You will be offered various shifts throughout the week, including weekends. Service is both indoors and on our patio. The core restaurant hours are 11.00am to 11.00pm.
