The catalog team is looking for a highly technical Senior Technical Program Manager responsible for driving strategic initiative to enhance the quality of variation relationships within the Amazon catalog. They will coordinate cross-functional efforts, track progress, and ensure the successful delivery of the variation quality goals. The TPM will work closely with stakeholders across CX, SX, Brand, and Product teams to identify and resolve issues, manage dependencies, and deliver tangible benefits for end-customers.
As a TPM, you are empowered to:
- Interact directly with executive sponsors to define problems and deliver large scale cross-functional projects spanning many teams.
- Collaborate with engineering leaders to understand the team's challenges, pain points, and areas for optimization in the development lifecycle, system architectures, and operational processes
- Lead efforts to simplify complex system architectures and reduce technical debt, ensuring long-term maintainability and scalability
- Work closely with engineers and engineering leaders to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure that initiatives are aligned with their workflows and preferences
- Identify, assess and mitigate risks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs balancing the business needs versus constraints.
- Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders
- Evangelize best practices, share learnings, and promote a culture of continuous improvement, architectural simplicity, and operational excellence within the engineering organization.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
