Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversity As a Sr Production Planner here at Honeywell, you will beresponsible for leading globally across the supply chain network to gather andmanage information about our businesses' capacity to meet customer demand. Youwill report directly to our Production Planning Manager and you will work outof our Chandler, AZ location.
In this role, you will impact and improve the supply chainplanning & execution process within the SBG business. You will execute thevision and goals for your Materials Planning function and manage the people andprocesses to achieve excellence in SIOP, supply planning, inventory &replenishment planning management, and resolution of supply chain issues. Asthe Sr Production Planner, you will lead the activities related to the purchaseof material, material planning, production planning, inventory control, andshipping/receiving. You will lead the development of AOP and STRAP, providedirection to your team to achieve organizational objectives and drivefunctional excellence and continuous improvement. You will be a proven teamleader and can lead complex global project teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute the monthly plan (SIOP) and allassociated initiatives within the business to achieve on-time shipments to meetinternal and external customer needs.
Drive efficiency across the supply chain through planningand forecasting material replenishment and a supply schedule that anticipatesand adapts to variable demand requirements in support of the operating plan(SIOP).
Strategize with the broader supply chain team on allopportunities to level-load the plan to drive improvements in service, quality,inventory, on-time shipment & delivery, order fulfillment, cycle time,capacity management, and growth.
Anticipate and mitigate implications of problems and gapsto the plan (SIOP) and accurately communicate/escalate.
Liaise between cross-functional departments such asProcurement, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, and Manufacturing.
Identify areas for process improvement and developmentwithin all levels of the operation.
Challenge current manufacturing strategies to ensure thatthe best process and most customer-oriented strategies are being utilized.
Accountable for team key metrics: Inventory accuracy,safety stock, customer on-time delivery (OTTR), and drive root cause andcorrective actions.

YOU MUST HAVE US Citizenship to obtain or maintain a securityclearance
6+ years' experience in Supply Chain within amanufacturing environment
3+ years of project management experience
Strong project management and problem-solving skills WE VALUE Bachelor's Degree
Experience in Materials Management, Operations, SIOP, Inventory Management, MRP MPS, Procurement Logistics, and Manufacturing
Experience in manual planning
Expert in material control systems such as MRP/SAP systems
APICS or CPIM Certification
Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization
