Position : Sales Representative

Category : Full-Time, Salaried-Exempt

Reports To : GM & Head Brewer

Compensation :

• Base Salary + Commission

• General Summary :

Penguin City Brewing Company Sales Representative is responsible for assisting in the sale, merchandising, and promotion of brewery products. Our sales rep is expected to achieve sales goals for revenue and volume growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Generate new sales for Penguin City Brewing Co, which can include interacting with distributors, retailers, or profitable contacts.
• Build strong partnerships with key on and off premise accounts
• Meetings daily, monthly, and quarterly sales goals, and creates reports — to be determined by the Head Brewer and Owners.
• Engages, grows, and manages a list of key accounts and forecasting growth. Performs other duties, as assigned.
• Travel required 90% of the time. Must be able to constantly drive to varying work environments including base office, existing and potential customer sites, and event sites
• Availability to work evenings and weekends

Other Duties :

• Researches and brings ideas for higher growth and strategic account management.
• Keeps up-to-date knowledge of trends within the brewery industry.
• Participate in events/promotions/festivals

Required Skills and Abilities :

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Proven sales track record, preferably within the beverage industry.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with state and federal laws for beer and beverage sales.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel), or other related software.
• Reliable mode of travel to prospective clients.

Education and Experience :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous sales experience is required; a minimum of 1 year of sales and/or account management is highly preferred.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
