Your responsibility is to align multi-functional teams, balance commitments, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and safely for both people and the environment. Your success lies in driving out inefficiencies, managing sponsor priorities, and creating project impacts for the organization.This role is within the Advanced Manufacturing Technology team based in Pensacola, FL, and will be onsite. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Lead the way in planning and executing a new manufacturing line or upgrading existing infrastructure/equipment as the Project Leader.Mastering the development and implementation of work project management tools, such as breakdown structures, Gantt chart structures, and daily management tools, is crucial for project management success.Maximize the potential of project cost/budget development, tracking, and reporting.Lead and guide project teams within a matrix structure to achieve success through recruitment, management, coordination, and supervision.Creating project scope definitions, developing drafts, submitting bids, evaluating bids, and managing contracts are all critical aspects contributing to the success of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) contracting and General Contractor (GC) building activities.The job's essential requirements include: Coordinating internal operations functions to meet project schedule, quality, and EHS commitments, generating project plans, and resolving program issues. Ability to mitigate risks (50%)Apply leadership at the tactical level to hold multi-functional team members accountable for commitments to the business while using existing processes. (20%)Collaborate closely with contractors and internal functional leaders to make timely decisions to improve on-time delivery and ensure compliance with all Cytiva standards(10%)Utilize visual and daily project management systems to communicate line-of-balance reports to significant customers. (10%)Find opportunities for improvement (10%)It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Knowledge of engineering fundamentalsA degree in mechanical or construction-related subject area OR relevant industry certifications/qualificationsFour or more years experience in a site construction management role managing projects > $20MThe salary range for this role is $75k—$90k. This is the range that we, in good faith, believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and this range may be modified in the future.This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.We offer eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k).Note: No pay amount is considered wages or compensation until it is earned, vested, and determinable.
