Mudslingers Coffee House in Chesterfield, MO is looking for part time barista to join our team. We are located on 18521 Outlet Blvd. Our ideal candidate should be committed to providing customers with excellent service. You should be positive, friendly, knowledgeable, polite and willing to learn.

Pay and Perks::

• Averages $13-16+ an hour (base pay + tips)
• Cash tips are yours at the end of each shift
• 1 Free Drink and Food item per shift
• 25% off all purchases when off the clock
• no super early morning wakeups (we are open from 10 to 6pm Saturdays and Sundays 11-6pm

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.
• Preparing espresso drinks, smoothies, frappes, energy drinks, foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, brewing coffee and serving items to customers.
• Cleaning and restocking work areas, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality.
• Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases and behind the counter.
• Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.
• Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred.
• Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills.
• Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• A polite, engaging personality.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
