Delicious Cakes! in Addison, TX is looking for one part-time cake decorator to join our 14-person strong team. We are located at 14819 Inwood Rd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged.

We are looking for Part-Time Baker & Cake decorators $10 - $12/hr depending on skill

Please note: This is not a training position.

Only decorators with commercial bakery experience***

Qualification:

• Be able to ice cakes and cupcakes fast with sharp corners
• Multitask & be proactive in finding work to do during slow time
• Strong organization skills and ability to multitask
• Acceptable verbal English communication skills
• Excellent work ethic, customer service, food prep knowledge
• Knowledge of sanitation and kitchen etiquette
• Food Handler certified (Must be provided on the first day of employment)
• Minimum 1 years of Cake icing & cake decorating experience
• Minimum 1 year bakery experience
• Minimum 6 month baking experience
• Being bilingual in Spanish & English is a plus!

Responsibilities:

• Assistant to Pastry Chef/GM
• Decorate cakes, custom cakes including simple birthday cakes.
• Take care of our display case items
• Excellent Buttercream piping and decorating skills including beautiful writing.
• Support baking pastries, pies, cookies, cakes, etc
• Be a part of the team member with cleaning & organizing the kitchen area
• Working with the FOH/BOH team, and the shop management team to deliver outstanding finished products as scheduled.
• Be accountable, responsible, and on time for all scheduled shifts.
