Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and professional Certified Optician to join our team in Simi Valley, CA . As a key member of our eye care center, you will provide exceptional customer service and expert guidance to help our clients find the perfect eyewear solutions for their needs.

• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that best suit their prescription, lifestyle, and personal style
• Interpret and fill eyewear prescriptions accurately
• Perform precise measurements and adjustments to ensure proper fit and comfort of eyewear
• Educate customers on proper care and maintenance of their eyewear
• Collaborate with optometrists and other eye care professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Conduct minor repairs and adjustments on frames and lenses
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in eyewear fashion and lens technologies
• Maintain a clean and organized optical dispensary
• Process sales transactions and maintain accurate customer records
• Participate in inventory management and reordering of products as needed

Qualifications

• Active California Optician's license.
• Valid ABO/NCLE certification.
• Strong knowledge of optical products, lens technologies, and frame styles
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• You are passionate for helping people see better and feel confident about their vision.
• You enjoy interacting with customers and providing them with personalized solutions for their eye care needs.
