We provide environmental permitting, air quality, remediation, weed management, stormwater management, and other environmental services to clients throughout the country.
The Operations Administrative Assistant role requires the execution of a broad range of tasks supporting compliance, efficiency, and process improvement for Environmental, Natural Resource, and Air Quality Operations, which form the core of work performed at Quandary. Effective communication skills are critical for this position, particularly the ability to understand and integrate needs from various operational and support teams throughout the company. This position will need to be able to effectively gather and interpret a wide range of data and then effectively communicate the results and implications of that data to a range of internal and external groups as needed (e.g. executive leadership team, operational managers and their teams, internal finance and other support teams, clients, government agencies).
Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist in maintaining databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality for the Operational team.
- Perform tasks related to Operational Compliance.
- Assist Operations Director with development, management, and communication of health and safety programs internally and externally.
- Assist Operations Director with ensuring project setup and management is in compliance with client/contact requirements, including requirements related to local, state, tribal, and federal government work.
- Assist operational program managers with supply and resource management, including equipment inventory and storage.
- Perform tasks related to Process Improvement and efficiency of Operations.
- Work with operational program managers to assist in process improvements at project, program, and organizational levels;
- Data gathering and organization, SOP, and technical document writing, and documenting internal workflows.
- Create templates in Microsoft Word to be used by operational functional groups.
- Collaborate with finance, business development, and other support teams to implement process improvements as needed within the operational functional groups.
- Additional tasks as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Suite of products, particularly Excel and Word
- Background in business principles
- Knowledge of project management principles and concepts

- Visual Basic
- Experience administering health and safety programs in operational environments.
- Experience in or supporting technical teams, particularly in a consulting or other fast-paced and varied environment.
- Familiarity with environmental compliance work
Education and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field, preferred.
- Experience in an engineering, consulting, or other technical field; or with contracting work where operational success depends on doing actual technical tasks.
- Health and safety certifications/knowledge, preferred.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: - Prolonged sitting/standing at computer.
- Lifting heavy objects, include weight maximums (i.e., up to 50 lbs.).
- Repetitive tasks that can be physically demanding.
Expected Salary: $55,000-$65,000 DOE.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours a week average
Work Location: Denver, CO: Reliably commute to Denver office daily.
