Job Summary:

We are excited to welcome an experienced mortgage loan professional to our team! In this hybrid role, you will play a vital part in evaluating and processing loan applications specifically for our VA client base. Your key responsibilities will include interviewing applicants to gather essential financial information, assessing creditworthiness, and discussing loan terms. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and customer service skills, along with a solid understanding of the VA loan process.

Responsibilities:

- Engage with new VA applicants through live calls
- Utilize Salesforce to manage opportunities for new business
- Conduct interviews with applicants to gather financial information
- Assess creditworthiness and process loan applications
- Submit files to underwriting and clear approval conditions
- Prepare transactions for the closing department
- Assist clients in understanding the terms and conditions of their contracts
- Provide rate quotes to prospective customers
- Maintain detailed records for all accounts

Qualifications:

- Military service experience is a plus
- Previous experience as a Loan Processor is preferred
- Familiarity with standard mortgage loan origination systems (LOS) such as Calyx, Encompass, LendingQB, etc.
- Strong email organization and excellent writing skills
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of VA loan processes, including WebLGY, Lender Handbook, AUS, etc.

This position offers the flexibility of remote work.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 40,000.00 140,000.00 Per Year
