Position: Marketing Specialist I (Hybrid)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid role: 2 days onsite Tuesday/Wednesday, 3 days remote)
Duration: 4 months

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the development and execution of marketing plans across diverse segments, driving awareness and demand in the market.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or a business-related field
2-3 years of experience in a marketing role
Experience in both traditional and digital marketing
Prior experience working with well-established corporations
Strong focus on project management
Preferred education from a reputable institution (UNC Chapel Hill, NC State, Wake Forest, High Point University, or equivalent)
What You'll Do:
Drive Business Growth
Support the development and execution of integrated marketing plans with a focus on customer retention, demand generation, and advocacy.
Create strategic campaigns for customer-facing events and digital lead generation.
Collaborate with Sales, Market Development, and Product Line Management to identify new opportunities.
Coordinate initiatives to build brand awareness and drive incremental revenue growth.
Lead marketing campaign execution on time and within budget.
Be the Segment Marketing Expert
Become a subject matter expert in market segments and relevant applications.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide insights and execute data-driven strategies.
Support specialized media and communication strategies tailored to the market.
Empower sales teams with tools and messaging to present value effectively.
Lead the commercialization of products in collaboration with various teams.
Develop and execute digital campaigns (social media, email marketing, web content) to generate leads and grow the market.
Provide Marketing Thought Leadership
Define and communicate value propositions to key audiences through compelling campaigns.
Craft relevant, technical, and business-driven content to engage customers at every stage of the buying journey.
Success Metrics:
Growth of segment revenue
Lead generation and opportunity conversion
Marketing-influenced revenue
Engagement across key accounts, web, and social media
Timely completion of marketing projects
What We're Looking For:
Required Skills & Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
2-3 years of marketing experience
Fluent in English
Proficient in digital marketing, including social media management, email campaigns, and web content
Knowledge of SEO is a plus
Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
A creative, energetic, and passionate approach to marketing
Preferred Experience:
Experience in marketing within the telecommunications or a related industry
