Job Summary:

A'SMORE seeks a highly skilled and passionate Lead Pastry Cook to specialize in the production of our signature vegan macarons. This role requires exceptional technical ability, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep understanding of pastry techniques. The Lead Pastry Cook will work closely with our Operations Manager and Head Pastry Chef Consultant to ensure consistent quality and efficiency in crafting our exquisite macarons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Macaron Mastery: Expertly execute all stages of macaron production with a focus on precise piping techniques to create uniform and visually appealing shells.
• Confectionery Production: Prepare high-quality vegan ganaches, glazes, and fillings according to A'SMORE's recipes and standards.
• Technical Excellence: Demonstrate a strong understanding of pastry techniques, ingredient functionality, and baking principles.
• Quality Control: Maintain rigorous quality control standards, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and appearance.
• Efficiency: Contribute to efficient workflow and production processes.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with the Operations Manager and Head Pastry Chef Consultant to meet production goals.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Cook with a strong emphasis on macaron production and piping skills.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in pastry techniques.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
