The Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team at Intuit is responsible for company-wide financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis. As the central planning group for the company, Corporate FP&A plays a unique and critical role in driving business decisions and optimizing financial outcomes. Corporate FP&A determines and communicates financial goals and targets to each of Intuit’s business segments, then consolidates and monitors financial performance against those goals to ensure that Intuit is reaching its objectives. The group is also charged with developing presentations to the CEO, CFO and Board of Directors regarding company financial performance.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Corporate FP&A, this Lead Financial Analyst will develop and deliver strategic, data driven insights as they perform research, analysis and reporting in support of our mission.
The ideal candidate will be an inquisitive self-starter, with a deep understanding of financial theory, proven business acumen, strong analytical and modeling skills, and hands-on FP&A experience.
Build cases for analysis, framing both the problems to be solved and proposed approaches
Gather and analyze internal and external data to unlock key trends and insights
Model potential outcomes at the appropriate altitude
Identify opportunities to improve resource alignment in service to sustainable growth
Prepare and deliver clear, insightful presentations
Partner and collaborate across the broader team to accomplish goals
5-7 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, private equity or analytics
Advanced Excel financial modeling, analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent collaboration skills, ability to work well within teams, and ability to coordinate across multiple organizations
Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to distill storylines from large data sets and create executive level presentations
Ability to manage multiple priorities and successfully navigate ambiguity
Self-motivated individual with demonstrated ability to both lead and drive complex analysis to influence and drive decisions
Grace under pressure with a good sense of humor and dose of humility
BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Management or equivalent work experience; MBA, CFA preferred
Hyperion Essbase and GSuite experience a plus
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $146,500 - 198,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
