Landscape Architect

AECOM is excited to announce an opportunity for a talented and experienced Landscape Architect to join our Transportation Business Line in Atlanta, Georgia. Our team is renowned for creating innovative designs for transportation infrastructures, including streetscapes, highway beautification, and state-of-the-art multimodal pathways. We invite you to bring your talent, knowledge, experience, and creativity to help shape transportation-related designs across the Southeast.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the design process from concept through construction.
  • Prepare design graphics and technical drawings.
  • Coordinate design and administrative activities with employees from other disciplines and departments involved in the assigned project.
  • Assist in training assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
  • Under the direction of the Supervising Landscape Architect, independently perform technical assignments of varying complexities within approved schedules and budgets.

Qualifications



Minimum:

  • BA/BS Landscape Architecture degree
  • 4 years of Landscape Architecture experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

 

Preferred:

  • Professional Landscape Architect or pursuing certfication
  • Familiarity with US Southeast REgion native and climate-appropriate plant communities
  • Experience with MicroStation and DOT-related construction documentation
  • Experience with Design-Build project delivery
  • Experience with RFP/RFQ processes for public agencies, institutions, organizations, and private entities
  • Proficiency/experience in AutoCAD and 3Dmodeling, ArcGIS
