Summer 2025 Recruitment Timeline:
November 4 – December 6: Applications Open (may close early due to applicant volume)
Mid November – Late December: First round video interviews
Mid – Late January: Second round interviews
Late January – February: Selected candidates receive offers

Corporate Finance (Treasury): The Treasury Intern will join a team focused on supporting the banking and cash operational needs across NBCUniversal’s global portfolio of businesses. The internship will provide an opportunity to cultivate meaningful relationships, develop professional skills, gain insight to the day-to-day operations of a top media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network. You will gain invaluable knowledge of our industry, be part of our diverse and welcoming culture, and receive exposure to other areas of the business. This intern will provide Treasury support by acting as a liaison between company business units and financial institutions to troubleshoot transactional inquiries and operational issue, prepare and distribute daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting, ensuring up to date and accurate information is available to the relevant teams in a timely manner, and evaluate opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities by leveraging technology tools, among other responsibilities.
Corporate Strategy: The Corporate Strategy & Development intern will have the opportunity to work across multiple businesses within NBCUniversal (Film & Television Studios, Television & Direct-to-Consumer Entertainment, News & Sports, Telemundo, Fandango, Consumer Products, and Parks). This unique position will provide access to high-level strategic decision-making in the ever-evolving world of media & entertainment. Responsibilities will span from providing financial and strategic support in evaluating mergers & acquisitions, joint venture partnerships, minority investments and cross-divisional business development initiatives, developing financial models and valuation analyses, including returns analysis and sensitivities, and conducting market research and competitive benchmarking to inform leadership on industry trends.
Basic Requirements:
Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (June 2025 through August 2025). May 2025 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2025 Internship Program.
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.
NBCUniversal is an E-Verify company, requiring all employees to have an active Social Security number. Any candidate receiving an internship offer must complete I-9 form with Social Security number within 3 days of hire.
Desired Characteristics:
Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Students pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
Previous internship or work experience within finance.
Strong interest in the media industry.
Ability to multitask and highly organized.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
The hourly rate for student interns is $25.00.
