Pet Sitter Position Available in Salina, Kansas

Are you passionate about pets and looking for a rewarding part-time job? Adventures in Pet Sitting is seeking a dedicated pet sitter to care for our client’s beloved pets in Salina, Kansas. We offer flexible hours Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM, and weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Please note: You won’t be required to work the full-time frame; scheduling depends on the needs of the pets and their parents.

As a pet sitter with us, you’ll provide care and companionship for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and farm animals. If you’re comfortable with a range of pets and enjoy working independently, this could be the perfect position for you!

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide in-home care for dogs, cats, birds, and farm animals.
• Feed, walk, and attend to the needs of each pet according to client instructions.
• Drive to clients' homes using your personal vehicle.
• Maintain regular communication with clients by providing care updates and notes.

Requirements:

• Availability Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM, and on weekends between 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
• Love for animals and the ability to care for various types, including dogs, cats, birds, and farm animals.
• Comfortable driving at different times of the day and night.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in providing detailed care notes to clients.
• Positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Clean background check.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Smartphone with a data plan for regular updates.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day and perform physical tasks such as pulling, pushing, bending, reaching, and lifting at least 15 lbs.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Approximate monthly earnings of $800 for 10 hours of work per week at $12/hour.
• Mileage reimbursement.
• Double certification in Pet First Aid, CPR, and Professional Pet Sitting provided.
