We have over 75 years of experience in water storage tanks ranging from 20,000 to 10 million gallons in size. We're an employee owned company with just under 200 employees in size and average tenure of 6-7 years. We have some people that've been with us for over 30 years. We're a leader in tank construction, design & engineering, and repairs & modification. We also offer in-house fabrication and welding services and have trusted clients nationwide. 

Position Overview
The Estimator is responsible for analyzing project specifications and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates for steel tank construction projects. This role involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure all aspects of the project are accurately costed and planned for.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and drawings to understand the scope of work and materials required.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for steel tanks, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to assess project feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze historical data to improve accuracy of estimates and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability of materials and services.
• Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals by providing accurate cost information.
• Monitor project budgets and provide updates or adjustments as necessary during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, specifically with steel tanks- (20,000 -10M gallons).
• Strong understanding of tank fabrication, construction processes, and welding techniques.
• Familiarity with cost estimation software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with clients and suppliers.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
