EI&C Senior Instrumentation, Control & Automation Specialist through

Provides expert knowledge, expertise, and training personnel in instrumentation, instrumented control systems and automation (including SCADA), including operations, inspection, troubleshooting, repair and advanced programming.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: - Supports RBU Process Control Network (PCN), Automation SCADA, and telecommunication systems for new and existing production facilities to enable safe and reliable production operations.
- Authors more complex procedures, standards, and guidelines for utilization by entire team on advanced programming and new technology application.
- Training and mentoring Operations and Engineering personnel
- Interpreting Control Philosophies, Cause and Effects and P&IDs and developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining standardized PLC and ArchestrA object-based programs, templates, processes, and tools to manage and sustain programming code for new and existing O&G Production Facilities.
- Support activities include managing, and maintaining SCADA HMIs, PLCs, Applications and Communication systems reliability and availability, support Operations production reliability and optimization efforts and support PCN Information Risk Management (IRM) compliance.

Required Qualifications: - Competency interpreting Control Philosophies, Cause and Effects, P&IDs, Device Data sheets and independent troubleshooting, as well as ability to teach these to others.
- Knowledge of Rockwell, ABB and Schneider PLCs, PCS RTUs, AES and Kepware polling engines, Wonderware HMI, ArchestrA object-based programs, Alarm Management Systems, PLC back-up systems, and associated tools are of high priority.
- Commitment to IFO and Safe Work practices, including practical experience with the MOC and PMOC processes.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be solution-focused and effectively work with cross-functional Engineering and Operations teams to drive improvement and solve difficult problems.
- Ability to be a Team Player.
- Ability to author more complex procedures, standards, and guidelines for utilization by entire team on advanced programming and new technology application.
- High skill level competency with O&G operations, facilities, instruments, meters and troubleshooting.
- Ability to get results through others the right way.
- Considerable experience interfacing with a large number of cross functional technical groups and FE discipline teams, as well as being able to communicate effectively to influence projects and efforts across multiple levels of an organization.
- Ability to mentor and develop less experienced engineers.
- Track record of performing and supervising all work in a safe and environmentally protective manner.
- Ability to recommend process improvements and steps to close gaps.
- Process Safety (MOCs, PHAs, AOAs, Process Safety Information) and related Managing Safe Work (IHE/EIPs, WAH, PTW, etc.) experience.

- The anticipated salary range for this position is $131,000 - 226,300 . The selected candidate's compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
