Job Overview:

As a Hemodialysis Technician, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, perform hemodialysis procedures and environmental safety checks of the unit.

Trinitas offers world-class expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of renal disease. Our renal program is designated with a 5 star rating through CMS for excellence in patient care. Our physicians and staff offer years of experience and operate out of three locations that are convenient to area residents. We emphasize expert diagnosis, treatment and early intervention for those at greatest risk.

To better serve our patients, all three Trinitas dialysis facilities have achieved 5-Diamond status through the Quality Insights Renal Network 3. The 5-Diamond Patient Safety Program was developed as an innovative training and recognition program to assist dialysis providers in increasing awareness and building a culture of safety among patients.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Certified in Dialysis as mandated by CMS

Preferred:

• At least one year of nursing assistant work experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Certified Dialysis Technician
• BLS through American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements:

• Shift working, 5:30am-2:00pm
• Monday-Friday; rotating weekends
• Full-time

Essential Functions:

• Monitor patients' vital signs
• Record and report changes of patient conditions to registered nurse
• Clinical competence in cannulation of vascular access, temporary/permanent catheters
• Disinfect/clean RO system, jugs & machines
• Perform environmental safety checks of the unit
• Order & stock supplies
