Job Title: Construction Assistant Project Manager (APM)

Reports To: Project Manager

Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Job Summary:

Heartland Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) with experience and knowledge of Construction practices in addition to strong computer and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate project activities with the Project Manager, Superintendent and Project Team
• Review project specifications and plans and update as necessary
• Review submittals to ensure compliance with contractual requirements
• Maintain project schedule and coordinate with Superintendent and subcontractors
• Coordinate and schedule owner/subcontractor meetings as necessary
• Coordinate schedules with material lead times with Project Manager, Superintendent and Suppliers
• Safety Awareness
• Prepare contract documents as required

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
• General Contractor 3 years (Preferred)
• LEED (Preferred)
• Computer Skills
• Communication Skills

Salary and benefit package is very competitive and commensurate on experience
