The Role: A private healthcare clinic based in Western PA is looking for a Clinical Practice Manager. The Practice Manager will collaborate with the existing Practice Manager to deliver comprehensive administrative support across multiple company entities, ensuring streamlined and efficient operations. Responsibilities encompass general administrative tasks, fiscal oversight, human resources support, regulatory compliance, and credentialing assistance.
Principal (Essential) Duties: - Complete and monitor monthly budgeting and financial reporting needs for clinical practice.
- In partnership with the existing Practice Manager, facilitates and completes the monthly billing processes.
- Monitor accounts receivable/payable and provide status updates to clinicians and operations team as required.
- Assist in the provider credentialing and privileges process.
- Complete new employee onboarding, benefits administration, payroll processing. Accurately maintain personnel records.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations for office facilities.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to ensure smooth daily management of the medical practice.
- Facilitate meeting schedules, appointments, and events as needed on behalf of the clinical office.
Experience Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or related field required.
- 3+ years of healthcare administration experience, management or lead experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in roles involving comprehensive knowledge and application of healthcare regulations, billing practices, financial reporting, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office suite and Electronic Medical Record systems (EMR).
- Working knowledge of healthcare billing and financial cycles, including insurance claims, coding, patient billing, and revenue cycle management. Familiarity with EHR systems and billing software is preferred.
- Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA and other state/federal healthcare requirements and regulations.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite, Google Workspace) and experience with office equipment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to: - Travel up to 10% to sites beyond the corporate office.
- Perform light work – exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- See, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
- Able to operate standard office/computer equipment.
