Chief Salesforce Developer Description
We are seeking a Chief Salesforce Developer to join our remote team. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker who will spearhead our Salesforce initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving technological advancements. With a focus on developing high-quality, scalable solutions, the successful candidate will be instrumental in transforming our Salesforce landscape to meet future demands.

- Define and execute the Salesforce strategy across different clouds including Sales, Service, and Community
- Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Architect end-to-end solutions within Salesforce Experience Cloud, ensuring they meet business requirements
- Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other systems using secure authentication methods like OKTA
- Drive the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, and maintenance within the Salesforce ecosystem
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, goals, and deliverables
- Manage the full lifecycle of Salesforce projects from conception through deployment
- Ensure the security and integrity of Salesforce data and applications
- Provide thought leadership in Salesforce technologies and stay updated with industry trends
- Handle the resolution of complex technical challenges that arise during project execution
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years' experience as a Salesforce Developer
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership and team management role
- Demonstrated participation in at least 2 full cycle Salesforce projects or significant involvement in multiple phases of project development
- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce Experience Cloud with a thorough understanding of its capabilities
- Extensive experience in primary Salesforce clouds: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud
- Skilled in integrating systems with Salesforce using secure sign-in systems like OKTA
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to manage diverse teams
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
- Well-versed in Agile development methodologies
- Fluent in English, with communication skills at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud and its implementation in healthcare settings
- Proficiency in advanced Salesforce analytics and custom reporting
- Knowledge of AI applications within Salesforce to drive business intelligence and decision-making
