Job Description

We're looking for an entry-level Business Analyst to join our team and provide diversified support to the Acting PMO Director. In this role, you'll work closely with middle and upper-level management, utilizing your expertise in organizational policies, procedures, and best practices. You'll be responsible for creating detailed reports, coordinating projects, and compiling research materials to support marketing and contract administration efforts. Key Responsibilities:
Draft clear and concise Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
Develop training guides and deliver training sessions for both internal and external clients, as needed.
Collaborate with IT teams and delivery managers to coordinate project releases after operations and client testing sign-off.
Support a sprint-based environment, working with shared IT resources across multiple projects.
Assist in improving standardized best practices to achieve company and team goals.
Perform data analysis using SQL Server to gather requirements or perform functional testing.
Create periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) involving advanced computations and multiple data sources.
Conduct research and compile materials for special projects related to marketing and contract administration.
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across all levels of the organization and with external clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Familiarity with SQL for data analysis.
Knowledge of sprint processes and project management concepts is a plus.
Prior experience in medical claims processing or the insurance and claims industry is an advantage.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science or healthcare.
2+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
Scrum certification or experience is a bonus.
