Spherion is seeking a reliable and efficient Bookkeeper to join our North Mankato client's team. This is a full time, Direct Hire position that will involve a variety of tasks, including bookkeeping, payroll entry, front desk duties, and general administrative support. Candidates should be prepared to work overtime during the tax season.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Process payroll and ensure timely payments
Greet and assist clients at the front desk
Answer and direct phone calls
Perform various administrative tasks as needed
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications:
2-4 years of post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, etc.)
