The Job

The Associate Director for Class Programs & Reunion Campaigns (CRPC) manages fundraising, class engagement, volunteer management, recruitment, and training, and creates yearly strategies for five undergraduate alumni classes; and plan certain Reunion Weekend programs, and assist in building reunion strategy and engagement analytics.

The Team

The CPRC team establishes class fundraising goals, recruits and develops volunteers, identifies high potential donors, solicits leadership gifts, hosts world-class signature events (Homecoming Weekend and Reunion Weekend), and engages alumni and students in fundraising for Georgetown.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage volunteers for five undergraduate alumni class committees
  • Develop internal & external fundraising and engagement goals & strategies for all classes managed
  • Tailor and implement engagement and solicitation strategies for each class
  • Conduct semi-complex analysis of class performance
  • Conceptualize, plan, manage and implement Reunion Weekend programming, and other materials




Work Interactions


Reporting to the Director of Class Programs and Reunion Campaigns, the Associate Director uses the phone, written correspondence, and in personal interactions with University staff as well as external constituents.


This position has been designated as Hybrid . Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University. Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a development/fundraising environment
  • Supervisory and project/program experience preferred.
  • At least 3 years of volunteer management experience
  • Exemplary communication and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • An interest in higher education or non-profit philanthropy
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications (particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Google Workspace, especially docs and sheets

  • Extremely well organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, and to consistently meets all deadlines and goals
  • Ability to manage and motivate volunteers with proven experience developing deep, lasting relationships
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced team environment focused on continual strategy development
  • Ability to assimilate data, exercise sound judgment and discretion, and work independently
  • A proven ability to meet or exceed goals
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks at once with minimal supervision
  • Intellectual curiosity with an ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Desire to contribute to and participate in the mission of Georgetown University
  • Professional and collegial demeanor; ability to exercise diplomacy, judgment and tact; and trustworthiness in handling confidential matters
  • Comfort with understanding and performing semi-complex metrics and analysis

Pay Range:


The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$44,022.00 - $73,406.80


Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
