Position: Associate Litigation Attorney - Remote / Work from Home (WFH)
Level: Entry-Level (0-3 years of experience)

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year + Bonuses

About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Entry-Level Attorney to join our team and assist with employment law cases, particularly focusing on discrimination. As a new member of our firm, you'll receive training and mentorship to help you succeed in managing cases and developing your legal career. You'll gain hands-on experience, working closely with clients and seasoned professionals, while contributing to important legal work that makes a real difference for employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in handling employment law cases, with a special focus on discrimination, including litigation, counseling, and compliance matters.
Conduct thorough legal research and draft documents such as pleadings, motions, and legal briefs.
Provide practical legal advice to clients and help develop strategies to resolve their legal issues.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to ensure smooth case progress.
Participate in client meetings and collaborate in case strategy discussions.
Stay current with the latest developments in employment law to offer clients the best possible service.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Kansas and/or Missouri (preferred, but other jurisdictions will be considered).
0-3 years of active legal practice experience.
Strong writing skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
Sound judgment and analytical abilities in assessing legal issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently, while also being a collaborative team member.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
