Position: Agile Trainer/Coach
Location: Sacramento, CA (Remote)
Contract Duration: 2+ Months (with high possibility of extension)
We are currently looking for a skilled Agile Trainer/Coach to join a dynamic consulting team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about Agile methodologies to make a meaningful impact by guiding teams toward success. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape Agile transformations, mentor key roles, and help organizations adopt best practices in Agile.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Expertise: Utilize your deep knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and XP to guide teams and individuals at all levels.
- Coaching & Mentoring: Work closely with executives, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile teams, providing coaching to strengthen their understanding and application of Agile principles.
- Agile Transformation: Lead strategic planning and execution for Agile transformations, ensuring clear objectives, vision, and measurable outcomes.
- Training & Facilitation: Design and deliver engaging training sessions that are tailored to diverse audiences, promoting Agile best practices and enhancing team performance.
- Agile Frameworks Mastery: Bring your expertise in frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe to tailor approaches that align with organizational needs, especially in large-scale environments.
- Agile Scaling: Assist in scaling Agile practices within larger organizations, with a focus on government and enterprise settings.
- Tool Experience: Leverage your experience with tools like Jira to support Agile workflows and enhance productivity.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years working in Agile coaching and training.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Program Consultant, or Certified Agile Coach are highly preferred.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Additional Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in Agile coaching and mentoring roles, including Scrum Masters and Product Owners.
- Expertise in Agile scaling practices for large organizations.
Additional Information:
- Travel: This role may require 50-60% travel (expenses reimbursed).
- Local Candidates Preferred: Ideally, candidates will be located in or near Sacramento, CA.
- Relocation: No relocation expenses will be provided.
- Work Authorization: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (no C2C).
